Style Icon....Steve Mcqueen

Steve Mcqueen is classic male cool...

Dsquared2...Spring 2009

I know I'm late on this one but I really love this collection and how it fuses that 80s hip hop style with Italian tailoring. The styling of the show is on point loving the accessories and the long socks.. it's daniel patrick esque.... Run DMC like...These are my favourite looks from the show...

Fashion Destination: Milan, Italy..

I love Italian culture they really have a quality and passion about everything they do especially the way they dress. When you see the made in italy tag in a garment it is a sign of quality. It may be more expensive to produce in Italy but I want quality so my range will be produced in Italy. I think it sets you apart from the rest. Italian men's style is impeccable and the women sure know how to put it together......daniel patrick made in italy...

The Icon...

Probably the biggest icon of our time. He will be truly missed....His legacy will live on. His fashion was ahead of it's time. Michael Jackson....

Style Icon: James Dean

The epitome of male cool. An icon!

Walking Art..

To me a great outfit is like a canvas it is a work of art. Everything put together just right, balancing, not too much not too little. Accessories are the key for me. They turn any outfit, when done right of course, into a masterpiece to behold. I love to dress up and create new outfits and love to dress others it's like my canvas I love taking elements from different styles and fusing them to create something of my own. Fashion is art and it doesn't matter what you wear it's how it's worn. Layering adds another dimension to the masterpiece. And let's not forgot shoes...shoes are major.Everything should be on point though down to the smallest details from grooming to even underwear. I know right underwear. But who can see it you say? Well you just never know.......Whatever the outfit make it your own.....Here are some works of art....

daniel patrick is listening to....

A taste of what I'm into musically right now....Loving pursuit of happyness track on Kid Cudi's Man on the Moon: End of Day..I love the artwork on the empire of the sun album it's so 1984 never ending story like. Can't go past Jay-Z another number 1 album. So many good tracks. Empire state of mind is inspiring, the joint with luke steele from empire of the sun What we talkin bout is dope. Kid Cudi, Rihanna, Drake and Kanye all feature on the album along with UK artist and Kanye protege Mr. Hudson..and of still listening to 808s and heartbreak despite the Taylor Swift debacle..

Kris Van Asche Paris Spring 2010: I'm Inspired

Kris Van Asche fused together traditional western wear with an African flavour in terms of silhouette. I love the elongated and oversized silhouettes and the layering of leggings with futuristic sneaker-like gladiator sandals harking back to early hip-hop culture. I'm inspired!

Fly Guy: Carlyle

I met Carlyle in NY a couple of months ago and loved his style. He always steps it up and is an up and coming fashion stylist styling the likes of Ciara no less. Here is a taste of Carlyle's style.
